You can reach Shillong by Bus/Tourist Taxi available at Paltan Bazar bus stand at Guwahati and get down at Military Hospital near Rilbong point, and from there by Taxi you can come to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eastern Air Command, Upper Shillong which is approximately 10 K.M. The fare charges of taxi is normally Rs.70/- to Rs.80/-. On getting down at Main Guard Room (2nd Gate) at Easter Air Command Campus and after seeking the permission from Main Guard Room you can reach to the Vidyalaya which is 400 Mtrs away from the Main Gate.
