ANALYSIS OF CBSE RESULT 2008 -VIDYALAYA LEVEL, CLASS XII

ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS 1. DECLAMATION COMPETITION BY AFWWA (R) Kum. Ankita Chatterjee Class IX stood first in Declamation Contest (English) and Kum. Vandana Nain Class XI Stood Second in Decalmation Contest (Hindi) Organised by Eastern Air Command on 08/08/2007 2. NATIONAL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD. 60 PARTICIPANTS. The following students were selected for the IInd round of Examination which was held at Guwahati:- 1. Durga Prasad. XII A 2. Rahuldeep Kalita XII A 3. Heeshna Sawhney III 4. Niharika Kalita VI 5. Seepak Reddy VII. 6. Lorisha Mohanty IX. 3. GREEN OLYMPIAD (TERI). 100 PARTICIPANTS. Abhishek Deb Class X B received Merit Certificate on obtaining more than 70% marks and 50 students of the Vidyalaya scored 60-70 % On 28th Feb. in NEHU she participated in the science Exhibition & was felicitated with the certificate. 4. Declamation Competition- Puruttor Hindi Academy. • Miss Alankrita Pathak of Class X won the first prize in the Declamation Competition on the life of Gandhi. •QUIZ and EXHIBITION Competitions held at the Block Level Science Fair 2005. •QUIZ -Miss Sudeshna Bhowmick and Miss Malavika Barfal were placed in the 2nd position. • EXHIBITION -Miss Sudeshna Bhowmick and Miss Sunana got the 3rd prize in the senior section and Master Sayan and Master Nitin were also placed in the 3rd place. 5. DEBATE COMPETITION The students of our Vidyalaya have shown their talent in a debate competition organised by Rotary club of Shillong and bagged the following prizes:- A) Best Participating School. b) Best Debate Team comprising Miss Bhargavi Sinha and Miss Ayesha Zaffar. 6.Painting Competition. The Vidyalaya won laurels in the competition organised by Energy Conservation Power grid Corporation of N.E. Region (Meghalaya). SPORTS Number of students participated in KVS regional sports meet 2006-07 in Lawn Tennis, Basket ball, Cricket, Athletics & Football.) 07 (Seven) students were selected to participate in KVS National meet held at Pune from 08-10-2006 to 12-10-2006. 1. Master Moinuddin in Basketball 2. Master Anurag in Cricket 3. Master Sahil in Lawn Tennis 4. Master Parth in Badminton 5. Master Salil in Lawn Tennis 6. Master Siddrath in Badminton 7. Miss Amanda in Table Tennis In KVS National meet two medals were won by our students. 1. Master Salil Rai of Class VIII won Gold medal in U-14 Lawn Tennis doubles. 1. Master Sahil Rai of Class X won Bronze medal in U-17 Lawn Tennis doubles. 8. Entrance Examination: a) 05 students were selected in various Engineering colleges through AIEEE. b) 15 students are doing Engineering in different colleges. c) 03 students got admitted in B. Sc Biotechnology. 9. NDA. Two students, Master Pankaj Sahu and Master Ujjwal Pathak were qualified for entrance in the NDA. 10. SCOUTS AND GUIDES. Master Nirupam Sharmacharjee was awarded the Rajya Purashkar award.
